A Summary of My Faith - Jonathan Wold

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

The Bible, Sola Scriptura, is the foundation on which, by God's grace, I've built my faith. Everything I believe must be able to stand the test of God's Word. Through this past year of my life, I've been blessed to have made the Bible my greatest study, spending sometimes just a few minutes and sometimes hours within its pages, each and every day.

When I first began, reading the Bible wasn't an easy thing. But I knew it was important, even if I didn't know why, and so with God's help I stuck to it. Reading the Bible, earnestly hungering and thirsting after truth, and applying the truths I was blessed to find, has changed me. God has changed me. I can say, with tears of joy in my eyes, that I'm not the same person that I once was. I thank God for it and by His strength I've dedicated my life to living out my faith to it's fullest, going to God each and every day for new strength and stepping boldly forward as He leads.

As I continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God, I look forward to sharing the things that God blesses me with to others. Do you have any questions about the Bible? I will do my very best to humbly answer them.. under one condition.. that you accept my answer only as it lines up with what God plainly says in His Word and that you search for yourself to see if these things be so.
